Dry Run

We got a call from Megan Friday night... "I'm having hard contractions every 3 minutes.  I'm headed to the hospital to see if I am in labor."  We were all so excited, pumped, nervous, you get the drift.  She called me to let me know she was on the way to the hospital and I over heard her snap at Kevin.  Her sweet little husband was trying to make a memory by turning up the song that they were "driving to the hospital to" and all she wanted was for it to be turned off. I have never heard her whimper or be in so much pain.  After I hung up I told my mom and we giggled a bit, but then knelt to pray and ask for Megan, Tripp and Kevin to be safe and protected. Kevin sent us this picture when they got to the hospital after they had been checked in.

Sad right?  I texted her and let her know I loved the jacket and the pink and black was super cute.  She was put in a room and her Dr. showed up checked her, kissed her on the forehead and said, "Not yet."  She was and still is super bummed and so ready for this little man to be born.  She is positive she is going to be pregnant forever....probably not.  It helps if we remember what we are all waiting for and what all Megs hard work is for...

We love you Tripp and can't wait to meet you again!  You can do this Meg only a few more days!

Almost there!

Kevin took some pictures of Megan at 34 weeks. She finally said to my mom "I think I'm ready for this to be over."

Sweet little Kaden

Lately it seems that all my friends are having babies...While I am so very happy for them it was a bit difficult at first to share in their immense joy.  I struggled with feelings of inadequacy and fear of never being a mother. I have had about nine months to get over myself. I would like to share the first little bundle of joy.

She is glowing

I had to share with you the beauty that is my sister.  She is literally glowing in this picture. I love her for her bravery, strength, love for the gospel, testimony of Christ, her laughter, her jokes for all that she is and how she makes me feel. Loved. Safe.

Jonathan Patrick Bragg

Thirteen years ago today my life as well as many others was changed forever.  Jonathan Bragg died. Every year at this time my family will bring flowers to Vivian his mother. We love her, we loved him.  I went to Deer Creek today to bring flowers so Ben could take them to his mom and I took a moment to reflect at the bench in his honor.  I took a moment to reflect what kind of a person he was and just how amazing he made everyone feel. He was funny, kind, fearless, a champion, a believer in Christ, talented, handsome and so special.  I love you Johnathan. Thank you for the memories. You will never be forgotten
