SHAKING THINGS UP A BIT...

So I decided to change the name of my blog...I wasn't a big fan of  E to the R to the IN to begin with so I found something I like more. The title is a line from one of my favorite poems by E.E. Cummings. You can find it below.

i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

I hope the change isn't too confusing.

Sweet little monster

The theme for Tripp's nursery is "Monsters/Where the Wild Things Are" they have collected so many cute little stuffed monsters...the one in the middle is my favorite.

What a big yawn for such a little man!

I for one was worried that Meg and Kev's dog Hero would be super jealous of Tripp.  I'm OK being wrong about this...

Take 2

Last Sunday Megan was having contractions every 60-90 seconds so her doctor told her to "get to the hospital".  Meg was checked in and checked out only to find that yes she was having consistent, hard, labor pains, but no she was not progressing.  The admitted her for the night to see if she would progress on her own and to watch her.  She had hopes of being induced in the AM (a Dr told them that was the plan) only to find out the state of Washington won't induce until the mom is 39 weeks along.  Meg had like 4 days... This picture was taken right after she was told that they were sending her home....again...no baby.  She is trying to look so brave and OK, but as you can see a Popsicle can only do so much.

My mother was able to fly in on Tuesday and surprise Megan and Kevin.  She has been able to help around the house and share in the last bits of Meg's pregnancy.  This story does have a happy ending or a promise of one, Meg is at the hospital right now and they have promised her that in the morning they are going to induce.  As much as we wanted Tripp to be born last week I am kind of excited...I am no longer going to be the only June birthday.  We will only be 3 days apart. Tripp only has a few more hours in that cramped little space.  We can hardly wait!
